It has finally arrived!!!

The most comprehensive Seminar and Symposia on SaaS, PaaS and Web 2.0 Technologies + Cloud Platforms.

By SaltMarch Media

Day 1

It was 7:50 AM and as we entered the plush and serene Nimhans Convention Center Campus, we find the series of various

hoardings about the Sponsors of the BT summit.

As we moved along we found ourselves @ the Registration Desk, registered ourselves and moved along to

get seated in the main auditorium for the keynote.

Inside view of the Auditorium; a fantastic setup I must say :)

We then had the Lamp Lighting Ceremony with Shri. Asnotikar Anand Vasant and Mr. Ramakrishna G of SaltMarch Media,

followed by the Opening Ceremony by Honourable Minister for Science & Technology,

Shri. Asnotikar Anand Vasant & Shri. M N Vidyashankar, CEO & E/o Principal Secy. to Govt., DPAR (Elections).

Shri. Asnotikar Anand Vasant addressed the delegates with full of encouragement and
constant support assurance of setting up their investments in the Country’s Premier ICT Destination “Bengaluru”.

It was now time for the good stuff ;) . Technical Keynote by Manoj Saxena from IBM who gave an excellent yet brief insight into the World of SOA.

Next came Mr.Robert Marcus, Senior Research Engineer @ SRI,USA, who spoke about SOA Standards.

Then I after this session I decided to take a look @ the other sessions that was going on.

I went into the Workshop of ECM given by

Alan Pelz-Sharpe, ECM Analyst.

I then visited the various Expo Booths and was really amazed at the kind of SOA developments have been taking place.

Then it was time for Lunch :p Yummy!!!

After Lunch in Hall A, it was a Session by Srikanth, Platform Lead,Microsoft India.

The Announcer, I think Divya, played a nice (harmless) trick on the attendees to boost their minds and backs ;) .

About winning a 10,000 rupees :) ..

She gave the audience 10 seconds to find it under their chairs and would later come to find out, that it was only a way to get the audiences boosted up after a nice round of Lunch.

Nice goin Divya…

You don’t think I fell for it did ya :) Hell No Way … ;)

The next session was from Peter Coffee of SalesForce.com. A Brilliant session on making complicated topics look very simple :) .

An excellent introduction to the World of Cloud Computing.

Finally I called it a day by visiting the SaltMarch Team.

Please do stay tuned for Day 2

The Cloud is here with only a sign to show what is about to come forward!

Get Ready for the next Exciting Wave!! :)

Best Regards
